COVID-19 Coronavirus Statement

Clifton’s of Wrexham Ltd is committed to protecting the health and welfare of its employees, suppliers, and much valued customers, as well as ensuring that it continues to operate normal business as much as possible during the coronavirus outbreak. Consequently, we have introduced a number of measures which aim to protect all parties involved while at the same time continuing to serve customers with the products and services they require.

Please be aware that during the current stages of the pandemic, as well as following the latest government guidance, we are implementing the following measures:

Fireplace Showroom

Classed as essential retail, we aim to remain open in some form during all lockdown restrictions.

• As of Monday 14th September 2020, in line with government guidance, we politely ask that all customers wear face coverings in the showroom area. Please visit the Welsh Goverment website for more information on face covering guidance.
• There will be restrictions on how many people are allowed in the showroom at one time, this currently being two people from the same household.
• We welcome ‘walk in’ trade, however, during full lockdown restrictions, we ask that customers contact us prior to arrange an appointment.
• On entering the showroom, hand sanitiser will be provided.
• We ask that customers refrain from touching our displays to avoid any unnecessary surface contact.
• We ask customers to respect social distancing while in the showroom. There are floor instructions throughout the showroom reminding you of this.
• Our counter has been fitted with protective screens, so we are still able to converse safely with customers at a distance.
• Card payments are preferred during this time

During the current situation, suppliers have reduced their deliveries. So delivery timescales may be a little longer than usual.

By implementing the above procedures, which are designed to reduce the spread of the virus, Cliftons of Wrexham Ltd will be able to continue to meet the needs of all customers while also protecting the health and welfare of staff and clients alike.
